I had a blast golfing, hiking, and go-karting. The lounge was perfect for my chill time. Pillows Lodge is conveniently located. Safety first with fire extinguishers, smoke detectors, and a security system. Felt like part of the family.

The location was phenomenal, just a short walk to shops and the beach. The double bed with ensuite room was surprisingly comfortable and nicely made up on arrival. The shower was clean and easily adjustable, and the shared kitchen facilities were helpful despite a slight learning curve with the appliances. The staff and management were a huge improvement, and the extended hours for the kitchen were a pleasant surprise. a great place to stay with a variety of amenities like wifi, off-site car park, electric kettle, flat-screen TV, laundry, express check-in/-out.

The service on arrival was top-notch, with the team promptly addressing any issues that arose. The two on-site restaurants served delicious food of excellent quality, and the locals were extremely welcoming and helpful. The location was very convenient, with easy access to the main shops. our experience was enjoyable despite the noise and extra charge for the bathroom.

The bed was really comfortable and nicely made up when I checked in. The shower was clean and the temperature was easy to control. The location was great, just a short walk to the shops and even shorter walk to the beach. The room was much better than I expected for the price.

Shared kitchen and laundry facilities made our stay even more convenient. Express check-in/-out for a hassle-free experience. Picnic area and tables were a pleasant surprise for enjoying the outdoors. Easy beach access for a refreshing swim or sunset stroll. Cots available for families traveling with little ones. Luggage storage and locker room for secure storage options. Non-smoking rooms ensured a fresh and clean environment. Electric kettle for that morning cup of tea or coffee.

Pillows Travellers Lodge is conveniently located near the centre of Orewa, making it easy to access the town centre shopping and the famous Orewa Beach. We enjoyed long walks along the beach, and the kids had a great time swimming and building sandcastles. The Peninsula Golf Club and Gulf Harbour Country Club were also nearby, so it was convenient for us to indulge in some golfing. The lodge also had a chess set available for guests, and we had a fun time playing chess together as a family.

My wife says that it would have been great if the lodge had a playground or some outdoor activities specifically designed for children.

We were pleasantly surprised by the amazing value for money we got at Pillows Lodge. The room exceeded our expectations with its cleanliness, comfortable bed, and great location, just a short walk to shops and the beach. The staff was friendly and helpful throughout our stay.
